A fire inside a pyrotechnic store can lead to simultaneous initiation of the stored articles, regardless their risk category, producing shockwave caused by released gas pressure. In fact, several accidents have occurred throughout history in stores. This indicates high posed pyrotechnics due flammability. Due lack global or European legislation on guidelines for design stores and associated assessment, present research aims analyze consequences establish globally possible effective prevention protection measures order reduce explosion avoid future accidents. The observed reflected pressure (pressure measured when wave is incident perpendicularly transducer) during tests indicated need minimize potential occurrence fires. limitation maximum permissible load, considering volume (kg/m3), reduces consequence severity event an accident.
